The Financial Services Institute Launches the Program “Building the Readiness of State-Owned Enterprises for Listing on the Egyptian Exchange”
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) will launch within a few days the National Initiative to Build the Readiness of Government IPO Companies Provisionally Listed on the Stock Exchange through the training programmer “Building the Readiness of State-Owned Enterprises for Listing on the Egyptian Exchange”. The programmer is implemented by the Financial Services Institute (FSI) and the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD), the two training arms of the Financial Regulatory Authority.
This program comes as a pioneering step to qualify and support the targeted government companies for listing, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to achieve a smooth and successful transition to the capital market, thereby ensuring the enhancement of their investment position and the creation of sustainable value.
This programmer is considered an integrated qualification pathway specifically designed to meet the actual needs of future state-owned enterprises offered for listing. The programmer aims to raise the institutional, financial, and organizational readiness of these companies, strictly aligning with the requirements and regulations governing the capital market as well as the listing rules of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The programmer is not limited to providing theoretical knowledge alone; it also offers a comprehensive practical framework for capacity building and upgrading the efficiency of the human resources involved. Furthermore, it contributes to equipping participants with the applied practices necessary to understand each stage and procedure of the listing process, starting from the provisional listing requirements all the way to continued listing and actual trading, with a focus on relevant legal and financial aspects.
Combining Executive Thinking with Practical Application
The programmer relies on an execution-orientated training methodology aimed at enabling government companies to fulfil the final listing requirements for offering on the Egyptian Exchange. This is achieved by combining legislative foundations with practical application, ensuring that knowledge is transformed into actionable procedures within the companies.
