The Automobile Insurance The program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the technical and practical framework of automobile insurance policies. The program covers underwriting principles and reviews relevant practical case studies. It also aims to clarify the fundamentals of claims settlement procedures and the stages involved therein, in addition to the technical aspects linked to evaluation and settlement operations.

Primary Objectives of the Automobile Insurance Program

● To identify the fundamental principles of the automobile insurance contract.
● To understand the types of insurance coverages included in automobile insurance policies.
● To differentiate between the sum insured, market value, and limits of liability.
● “The Egyptian Compulsory Insurance Pool for Civil Liability Arising from Accidents of Rapid Transport Vehicles” as well as understanding the role of the government fund.
● To identify standard exclusions applicable under automobile insurance policies.
● To understand the procedures required in cases of severe accidents, total loss, and theft of the insured vehicle.

Program Structure Of Automobile Insurance

Day One

● Identification of the elements of the automobile insurance contract (Risk InsuredSum InsuredPremium).
● Understanding the technical principles of automobile insurance contracts.
● Overview of the basic legal principles underlying automobile insurance contracts.
● A simplified overview of compulsory automobile insurance and the role of the governmental fund.
● The concept of the “orange card
● Understanding liability in its criminal and civil dimensions.
● Purpose and function of supplementary insurance; application process and declarations.
● Identification of cases requiring vehicle inspection.

Day Two

Classification of different types of automobile insurance contracts (four principal categories).
● Review of the principal insurance coverages (four main categories).
● Nature of additional coverages (endorsements / ancillary benefits).
● Distinguishing between compulsory and voluntary endurance.
● Detailed explanation of the components of the automobile insurance policy.
● Explanation of the accident notification form (claims notification form).
● Understanding the rules for calculating compensation:

1. Total loss compensation.
2. Total theft compensation.
3. Compensation for civil liability.

● Case studies on forfeiture of the insured’s right to compensation.
● Identification of exclusions from insurance coverage.
