Course Description:

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of property underwriting in the insurance industry. ·         interpret the key components of All Risks policies and the main differences to Named Perils coverages. “Insuring Clause”

·         Discuss the different aspects of the “Chain of Causation” and determine the proximate cause of loss.

Assessments

§  A pre/post- assessment – 10 Multiple Choice Questions covering the main course ILOs conducting at the beginning of the course, the difference between pre and post assessment is used to assess the progress in filling the training gap.

§  A Final assessment: 30 MCQs

§ Pass with Distinction (PD):   100% – 75%

§ Pass (P): 74% -50%

§ Fail (F): Less than 50% (granted an attendance certificate only)
